The CAM Academy Trust is pleased to confirm that its planned merger with ACES Academies Trust is progressing well, with all preparations on track. The Trust looks forward to formally welcoming ACES colleagues into the CAM family on 1 January 2026.
From this date, all five ACES schools will officially join The CAM Academy Trust. This includes Hinchingbrooke School alongside several smaller primary schools, each of which shares strong educational values and approaches with CAM’s existing primary settings.
Claire Heald, CEO of The CAM Academy Trust, described the merger as a significant and positive step for education across the region.
“This is an exciting development for education in Cambridgeshire and we believe this proposal offers real benefits for both trusts. ACES schools bring their own strengths, and we see clear opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.”
