In March 2026, the Gamlingay Village Primary school choir will once again join in at the Voice in a Million concert at Wembley Arena — one of the largest children’s choir events in the world. This inspiring event brings together thousands of young voices from schools across the UK to sing in harmony and raise awareness for important children’s charities. It promises to be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
In preparation for the performance, our choir will be learning 12 songs, covering a wide range of musical styles and themes. The children will be practising well-known hits such as “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay and the timeless anthem “We Are the Champions” by Queen, along with a selection of uplifting and inspirational tracks. Rehearsals will take place weekly in school, giving the children the chance not only to develop their vocal skills, but also to build confidence, teamwork and performance discipline.
This will be the third year in a row that the Gamlingay Village Primary school choir has been involved with Voice in a Million, and we are incredibly proud of their dedication and enthusiasm. For many pupils, singing at Wembley — under professional stage lighting and accompanied by a live band — has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Previous participants have described the atmosphere as electric, and the sense of pride they feel singing alongside thousands of other children has made it a highlight of their school experience.
We are really looking forward to another amazing year of music, creativity, and memorable moments, and we can’t wait to see our talented young singers shine again!
