We offer up to 30 days’ paid holiday per year plus bank holidays for full‑time non‑teaching staff, with statutory leave for teaching staff. Colleagues also benefit from enhanced sick pay, maternity and adoption pay (linked to service), and paid leave for unforeseen personal circumstances. All staff are enrolled in a generous defined‑benefit pension scheme—either the Local Government Pension Scheme or the Teachers’ Pension Scheme—and eligible members receive death‑in‑service benefits, including a lump‑sum payment and ongoing pension support for dependants.

We provide free, independent 24/7 counselling and support for both work‑related and personal matters. Many of our schools also offer wellbeing groups and initiatives, and all colleagues benefit from a positive working environment with high‑quality facilities (which may vary by school).

Work–Life Balance
All colleagues are able to request flexible working arrangements, supporting a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments. For teaching staff, we employ Cover Supervisors to reduce cover requirements, and PPA time is protected within timetables and not used for cover.
